Born and raised in Queens, NY, there's no shortage of inspiration or opportunities. I started painting in 2016 after many years of writing poetry I never shared. One day while writing a poem this image came to my mind; a girl with a plunger down her throat, too full of everything she never said. I imagined what it would feel like to unplug, a sea of emotion springing up, loosening the most rigid gears of my mind. Over 3 days I drew pieces of this distorted self. From the drawings came a painting. My first.

I fell in love with having the paint on my fingers. Moving my feelings onto the canvas and becoming part of it all at once. As an abstract expressionist, I use color and movement to release and identify feelings that words could never. Rather than use traditional bristled brushes, I often prefer to work with sponges, foam brushes, cardboard pieces, my fingers and ofcourse FLORALS. Now, I'm building something that outlives me, starting with a canvas, ending with a legacy. Let's connect! Follow me on social media or send me a message directly through my contact page.
